The Pack Basket

The 6 days to make one, the way I do .. all by hand

DAY:

(1) Pound the strips (Splints) off the log (VIEW1) 51KB (VIEW2) 52KB

(2) Gauge (Cut) the Splints to the correct width

(3) Split the Ash Splints to the correct thickness (VIEW) 74KB

(4) Shave the Splints, shape and bevel the "Uprights" (VIEW) 68KB

(5) Weave the Basket up part way, make rims, lashings, legs (VIEW) 22KB

(6) Weave the basket, add rims, lashings, legs, add Leather harness and sign it (VIEW) 45KB

It Fits Good Too (VIEW) 73KB
